Why We’re Here
If you’ve ever looked around at the world – at the headlines, the noise of social media, or the pressure of keeping up – and thought, surely there’s a better way to live and connect, you’re in the right place.
I started The Common Co as a grassroots media project to cut through the clutter. This is a space for clarity, curiosity and connection – where we can unpack modern life without the doomscrolling, without the jargon, and without being sold something at every turn.
At its core, The Common Co is about empowerment. It’s about everyday people finding their voice, feeling seen, and accessing practical tools to thrive. We’re building something different here: a digital community that values honesty, inclusivity and critical thinking. And because media should feel like a conversation, not a lecture, we’re starting with one of our favourite formats: podcasting.

This is where my husband Eithan and I get real about life in transition. We’re raising three teens, navigating big changes, and like so many others, asking ourselves: what’s next?
Each month, we pick a book on growth, wellness or mindset, and unpack it together. Not like a classroom, but like a chat with friends – the “Glow Getter” community. We’ll share our reflections, our struggles and our takeaways, with a little cheeky banter along the way.
The Midlife Glow Up is for anyone who’s ready to dream again, try something new or simply feel less alone in the messiness of midlife and beyond. Our promise? No jargon. No filters. Just real talk, honest laughs and the kind of insights you can actually use.
